You should consider the main type of material that will be use for the construction of your pool which can either be Concrete, Vinyl-liner, and Fiberglass. Above-Ground In-Ground
Cost Average cost of P12,000m² to P22,000m² or higher depending on quality of materials, pumps and filtering system used. Average cost of P18,000m² to P25,000m² or higher depending on quality of materials, pumps and filtering system used.
Size Can be as big or small as an inground pool. Flat bottomed – they won’t have a shallow and deep end. Can be built to any custom design, size and depth.
Install Time Installation can take a few weeks depending on size. Installation can take a months or longer depending on size.
Maintenance Require the same maintenance, but costs are cheaper when the pool is smaller. Can be harder to clean if there is no deck. Similar costs, unless it’s a saltwater pool, which has lower maintainance costs
Longevity Will last for 8 – 10 years Will last for at least 25 years, with some lasting more than 50 years.
Return On Investment Won’t add value to your home. Will add about 7% - 10% to your home’s value.

Above Ground

Above-ground pools are by far the cheapest option when it comes to installation. Another advantage that above-ground pools have is that no excavation is required, meaning that what lies beneath the surface (pipes, cables, rock) isn’t an issue. Excavation is often what makes a pool installation costly, so building above ground negates the need to dig.

In-Ground

In-ground pool (with perimeter 0ver-flow design). Concrete pools provide the most design freedom. Given the space on site, they can be as wide and long as you want and any shape or depth. As well as this, there are more options when it comes to design features such as Perimitter Over-Flow, Vanishing edges or Infinity, Beach entries, Tanning ledges and so on. In fact, a concrete pool can become a major design feature and part of the house, adding significant value to your home.

Infinity Pool

Infinity pool gives one an illusion of a sheet of water dropping off over the edge like a waterfall, infinity pools are also known as infinity edge pools, vanishing edge pools, negative edge, zero edge, or disappearing edge. Infinity pools are always custom-built and should be designed to highlight a view. Definitely on the more expensive end of swimming pool types.
